Our Story

Nearly two decades of
roofs built to last

J's Quality Roofing was founded by Jason Alconcel with one goal in mind: give Maui homeowners a roof they can count on without paying more than they should. Jason built this company from the ground up, and nearly two decades later, it is still a family business rooted right here on Maui.

For close to 20 years, we have been repairing and replacing roofs across the island. From the upcountry slopes of Kula and Makawao to the coastal neighborhoods of Kihei, Wailea, and Lahaina, we know how Maui's weather tests a roof. Salt air, heavy rain, and intense sun all take a toll. We build and repair roofs with that reality in mind.

Jason and his crew were great! They were mindful of any rubbish and checked around the house before they left. There was an issue, but Jason took care of it right away. When unexpected things came up, he notified me first before moving forward with the job. Overall, I am satisfied with my roof.

Tiffany Kesaji Google review · February 2026

Jason was courteous and professional. He communicated well throughout the entire process and delivered when it came to doing a quality job. I would recommend to family and friends that are looking to do a repair or and entire roof.

Chuck Dando Google review · May 2025

The moment we first contacted Jason for a quote for re-roofing our house, we immediately got a response from him. He was very prompt, and answered all of our questions. After gathering a few estimates for this project, Jason stood out of the rest of the roofers we inquired from. His price was very fair and the most reasonble. He and his team did a nice job on our roof! He went above and beyond, definitely met our expectations. He is just a call away and he’ll take quick action. Definitely would recommend Jason and his team for all roofing needs.—-James Marquez
